Ray Ballantine focuses on retirement and investment planning for individuals as well as small to mid-size companies. Ray is a Registered Representative, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and is a licensed agent for life insurance and annuities.
Ray started in financial services in 1986 when he joined a major brokerage firm. He also ran his own retirement planning firm for a number of years. Ray spent 24 years at Hefren-Tillotson, a regional planning company, before that firm merged with Baird. In 2023 Ray joined The Meredith Group and serves as a senior partner helping to drive investment and servicing decisions while servicing his clients.
Ray is a co-host on the weekly podcast, "Your Wealth and You", a weekly podcast that connects listeners with financial experts to answer questions about investments, taxes, current market news, and more.
In his free time, Ray is an avid soccer player and coach. He and his wife Lynn reside in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh.
