Vily Kolesnichenko joined The Meredith Group in April 2024 as an Associate Financial Advisor after five years of supporting clients in the Pittsburgh region through financial planning. In his prior role, Vily partnered with advisors to create comprehensive Masterplans® for prospects and clients and ultimately oversaw the Financial Planning Department as the Assistant Manager of Financial Planning.
As The Meredith Group’s Financial Planner, Vily works with a commitment to understand our clients’ passions, values, and goals to craft a unique plan that utilizes advanced technology and strategies. He works closely with all our advisors to ensure they have the resources necessary to identify opportunities for greater success for our clients.
Growing up in Erie, Pennsylvania, Vily is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, The Behrend College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, and a Certificate in Financial Planning. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation as well as Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
Vily serves on the Board of Directors for the Ukrainian Selfreliance of Western PA Federal Credit Union. He also serves in ministry and leadership roles at his church located in Squirrel Hill.
Residing in the Penn Hills area of Pittsburgh with his wife and son, Vily enjoys creating artwork, spending time outdoors, and working on videography projects.
